Terms of use
Last updated
These terms apply to the InnoShot Chrome extension ("InnoShot") and to this website, both provided by Innobrains Technologies ("Innobrains", "we"). By installing InnoShot or using this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Using InnoShot
InnoShot is free. You may install it and use it, for personal or work purposes, to capture, edit and export images of web pages. You may not copy, modify, sell or redistribute the extension itself, or remove its notices, except where the law allows it.
InnoShot is installed through the Chrome Web Store, and Google's terms for the Chrome Web Store also apply to that installation.
Your content and your responsibility
Everything you capture and create with InnoShot stays on your computer and belongs to you, or to whoever owns the material you captured. We do not receive it and claim no rights to it.
You are responsible for what you capture and share. Respect copyright, the terms of the sites you capture, and other people's privacy. Before you share a screenshot, check it for personal or confidential information. Blur and pixelate are cosmetic; use redaction for anything that must not be readable, and check the exported file.
What InnoShot cannot do
Chrome does not allow extensions to capture some pages, such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store, and some pages render differently while they are scrolled. InnoShot tells you when it cannot capture a page or had to stop early, but it cannot guarantee that every page will be captured exactly as it looks on screen. The documentation lists the known limits.
No warranty
InnoShot and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work to make InnoShot reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors, that it will work with every website, or that it will never lose data. Keep your own copies of anything important, for example by exporting files or project backups.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Innobrains is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from the use of InnoShot or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
This website
You may read and link to this website. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or send automated or abusive messages through its forms. If you find a security problem, please report it through the contact page.
Trademarks
InnoShot and Innobrains are names and marks of Innobrains Technologies. Google Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. InnoShot is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Google. Browser and device frames in InnoShot are drawn illustrations inspired by common designs, not official artwork.
Changes
We may update these terms when InnoShot or this website changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use InnoShot after a change means you accept the updated terms.
